The Politics of the Wild Boys

In anticipation of Beatdom #17 – the POLITICS issue – we’re releasing this one-off free PDF download of The Politics of the Wild Boys, in which David Depestel explores the complex politics in some of William S. Burroughs’ best books.

David Depestel

David Depestel was first introduced to William S. Burroughs almost twenty years ago through an unfortunate combination of a twisted teenage mind, an intriguing TV announcement for Cronenberg’s Naked Lunch, and clandestine VCR programming skills. He has been sold to the product ever since. To support his habit (and his family) he has done some editing and translating jobs, and currently works at the research office of the School of Arts KASK & Conservatory in Ghent, Belgium.
